In true Daniel Kong style, I completely forgot about my blog’s 1 year anniversary yesterday… but who’s counting and getting technical? When I first set up this blog, the goal was initially to find a private space for me to find my own thoughts in writing. What it has become today exceeded my expectations, with all the wonderful letters I have received as fuel to my fire. You can be sure I have bigger and more ambitious plans for The Black Renaissance in the coming months, so I hope you like them all!

UPDATE: Dearest Carmen Chan has notified me that I have appeared on the feature image of LifestyleAsia.com’s Colonial Goods x G.O.D. event gallery! The Wanderlister+ Asia is next to me. Best blog anniversary present ever!
