I’ve gone on a personal tangent lately in my interests, specifically with art, curation, interior design and architecture. Although these sites are not all predominantly centered around fashion, they provide different ideas and invoke that seem to inspire, and take inspiration from fashion.
Japan Times | Well-Edited Shopping for Discerning Travelers
A beautiful, abstract take on what it means to be a fashion merchandiser / curator. The article really seems to bring home the point of telling a story through objects rather than to solely focus on bringing in as much sales as possible through cold, commercial calculations
By far the best invention since sliced bread. Art should not be a rarified art form reserved for the elite, but instead shared as cultural artefacts of the events that happen in our lives. PS: If you navigate around museums, my friend, Z, said it looked like “Counterstrike for Art Aficionados”.
A gem of a site that looks at all art forms from art to fashion to design.
A content-generating monster of a site. A bit more high-impact compared to the thoughtfulness of “My Modern Met”.
